Bio: Shawn joined the University of Oregon in the fall of 2001 after working with the University of Minnesota’s women’s hockey team as their director of operations. Before that, she spent eight years as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at Yale University.
Shawn’s UO career began in the ASUO as an office manager, and in 2004 she moved to Club Sports where she has served as the assistant director of club sports since 2010.
Shawn truly enjoys working with students and supporting them as they grow into confident, capable leaders. Supporting UO student-athletes and helping them discover and develop their leadership potential is one of the most fulfilling aspects of her work. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them grow through their involvement in club sports—gaining skills that extend far beyond their time on campus.
Outside of work, Shawn enjoys walking, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family.
